In November 7-9, Minsk hosted the main professional event in the fashion industry of Belarus - Belarus Fashion Week. The organizers are the PR and Communications agency Open Defile, NGO Belarus Fashion Council. 

Leading fashion brands of the country and designer brands presented their new SS19 collections on the catwalk. Among them are Ton-in-Ton, Natalia Korzh, Vita Gordievska, NELVA, sub-brand Friday by NELVA, Devur / Femme, Larisa Balunova, VOLHA, T. Efremova, Totti Swimwear. Foreign guests also showed their clothes to the Belarusian public - Nariman Grigoryan (Republic of Uzbekistan), Marco Rambaldi (with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Belarus), Male.Me (Republic of Poland).

Fashion shows were visited by fashion experts: Gosha Rostovshchikov - President of the International Association of Buyers and fashion director of the Milo Group and organizer of the Ukrainian Fashion Market Yulia Gloss.

Schedule of Kid's Fashion Day has traditionally been rich and varied: Bell Bimbo, Stilnyashka, KUTEPOVA YULYA & YULYA BEZLYUDOVA, MUGAKO, Marina and Sophia Bonifatyev, Said Shah, Danae salon, Leya.me, DVDESIGN, VERONIKA KANASHEVICH, Fstukhey, Arabians. Tom Prokofiev, TM Frantishka, Mothercare, Next, Forever Young, JennyLis, Aristokrat.kids, MiniAngeli. Model agencies, children's designers, multi-brand children's clothing stores - about 20 shows took place in a day, which testifies to the prospects of this specialization in the Belarusian fashion. Models of the shows were the children of leading agencies: European Academy of Models, KimPROdaction Production Center, MYSTUDIO, ICY MODELS, K & S Models Beauty School "Podium Gold Kids", Oksana Zagortseva Model School, Costume Design Theater, Mademoiselle Adr'i, Kids Podium, Dolce Vita, DVDESIGN, Sigma Models, Vita style. 

Thanks to the generosity of the guests, they managed to collect more than 2,000 BYN, which will go to the account of the “Belarusian Association of Assistance to Disabled Children and Young Disabled Persons”.

Social project “New Opportunities”, organized by the NGO “Belarus Fashion Council" and NGO “BelAPDIiMI”, united the efforts of designers and people with disabilities to create a commercial collection.

The brand new project show of stylists See Now & Buy Now, who collected fashionable images for the catwalk from Belarusian designer clothes. All images are collected from items of clothing that are on sale.

The new project Ethical Fashion Show was held thanks to the initiative of Yanina Hancharova, the head of Belarus Fashion Week. The concept of this show is based on the theme of sustainable, eco-friendly and ethical fashion. The show demonstrated the modern look of designers on the long-forgotten techniques of national applied art, integrated into today's fashionable context. And also work with local raw materials, in this case with flax, which is used in all collections of authors. Designers Polina Voronova and Larisa Atamanova (Historia Naturalis), Ekaterina Kabanova (POETKA), Natalia Kostroma-Andreyuk, Anastasia Vasyuchenko (KANVA), Natasha Dosko and Rita Lazarevich (Lokon-kokon) participated in the show.

Totti Swimwear by Martini was the perfect closure of Fashion Week. The beautiful scenery of lemon trees served as the perfect backdrop for spectacular swimsuits and created on the catwalk the carefree atmosphere of a luxurious Italian resort.

This year, for the fifth time, Mary Kay® has become the official makeup artist of Belarus Fashion Week. The team of visgists, led by Alexander Kirinyuk, helped the participating designers to create bright and spectacular images.

The official partner is HUAWEI. Every day guests of the show had listened to the performance of successful fashion figures on the stage of HUAWEI Fashion Talks: Kate Tikota Yulia Latushkina, Valentina Kazak, Tanya Shcherbakova, Sandra Bondar, Bogdan Korovets, Ilya Trifonenkov. Also, a report from the Fashion Week was conducted on the camera phone Huawei P 20 Pro, to clearly show the high quality of the pictures, which it provides. More photos on The Village.

The creative partner of Belarus Fashion Week in styling hairstyles and hair styling is the POSHSCHOOL beauty school in Belarus; L'oreal Professionnel.

Also, BPS-SberbankNAVYMark FormelleGalanteyaGrand-DiamondOKPodolins took part in Fashion Week. 

Together with BPS-Sberbank, the Fashion-guide project was created. Fashion-guide is an opportunity to learn about the best Belarusian brands and get 10% discount when buying their products. 

In the 17th season, Belarus Fashion Week was visited by about 10,000 people; thousands more users followed the project in social networks and watched online broadcasts on 5 platforms: bfw.by website, official accounts on Vkontakte, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
