Belarus Fashion Week Day 1 - Moda Italia Minsk
The first day of BFW SS18 was marked by the longstanding friendship between two Republics – Belarus and Italy. The joint fashion show of Italian designers during the 9th season of Moda Italia project gathered together lots of guests, representatives of business communities and potential clients. All they had another one opportunity to see again, that Italian fashion is still as great and legendary as commercially successful.
Corso Principe demonstrated bags made of genuine leather in a restrained colour palette. Simplicity of lines and forms is balanced by non-trivial accents: accessories in the form of birds; decorative rivets; wide textured belts. Thus, these bags become a real fashion aid for women in any circumstances. In addition, the evident advantage of the collection lies in its affordability.
«Comfortable clothes for real people» - the leitmotif of joint show by Max Fort (men’s clothes) and Sophia (women’s clothes). Sweatshirts, hoodies, loose pants, T-shirts, blouses – any item of the collections might be an excellent addition to the casual wardrobe of the megapolis inhabitants. Considering the fact that the clothes of brands mentioned above are designed to people of a wide size range, the cut was chosen with regard to peculiarities of non-traditional bodies. Handmade headdresses by Carlo Forti, premium class leather bags by Marino Orlandi and shoes by Jackal Milano complemented the fashion looks. As for shoes, the unisex style and utility of Jackal Milano’s models broadened the circle of potential customers.
Patrizia Parma presented women’s outer clothing: down coats and jackets made of quilted velvet fabric. Principal colours were vine, powder pink and deep green, decorated with bead embroidery and real fur elements.
With clothes of Sexy Woman brand, you can compile a bold and courageous city look of a free spirit. Those girls, who adore to look unconventially, will appreciate ragged edges, lacing, asymmetry and classy black.
Totti Swimwear hasn’t changed its brand-named style and suggested to wear in upcoming swimming season opened and not burdened with unnecessary details swimsuits. Bright colours, accessories and cut, which extremely emphasize body curves – all these stylistic decisions were chosen in order to foreground femininity and sexuality. Italians couldn’t overlook men’s fashion too.
Designers of Absolut Joy showed on the Belarusian catwalk a mix of grunge, military and casual. The target audience of the brand are millennial men whose attitude to clothes is pragmatic. They prefer to have an appropriate look in any situation without using a large number of clothes. Absolut Joy provided them with such an opportunity.
During almost 40 years, Fontana creates high quality men’s leather shoes, which invariably become a must-have for clients who appreciate comfort and utility. There are classic moccasins, monks and loafers in the line.
The fashion shows were held dynamically in Italian manner of both easy self-irony and self-esteem at the same time.
Also after the show at the Showroom Moda Italia bussiness meetings with reoresentatives of big trade networks of Belarus. Communication in the format of B2B gives opportunity to italian brands to expand their participation on national market, what is the main purpose of the project.
